A reminder that this weekend your displays can be left over night. Please make sure to take all cash and valuables. Even with security theft can happen. Make sure all items are wrapped or tents wrapped up. A security fence will be up as well.
This year's Canada Day Market will be the 1st one in our new location as it may pose some challenges it will still keep us on the water front and a beautiful location. The East end of the pier is closed due to safety issues. We will be located on the west end.
The market will be set up in reverse from previous years. The good news is that once people are in they have only one way in or out. Please see the times above and try to come as close as possible to those times. Hours of operation are here. There will be waiting time as only some many cars can be on the pier at one time. Remember to bring weights and rope to tie down.
Big Plans for the Ship Point area, And it looks like there is still room for the Ship Point Market.

This looks like a unique opportunity for talented musicians. We are looking for 4 solo musicians to perform on buses as they transport the delegates. (Approx time 1.5 hours) to the evening event. The actual playing time might be only 10 minutes per trip. We also need 1 band that can play at the entrance to the event for 30 minutes. This is a paid gig but you can sell some CDs.
This is a national event and could bring exciting opportunity to our city.
