This is becoming one of the most anticipated holiday markets of the year because of the location. This building and surrounding buildings has a huge historic value to the community of VicWest and Victoria in general. In one sense we are making history as the 1st market to be held in one of the buildings. Portions of all tickets sales goes to the Salvation Army.
We are accepting applications now for the Nomad Holiday Market @ the roundhouse. Demand has been high so please be patient. It is a curated market so it will take a few days to get back to you once you fill out the form Here
If Thank you... To all the vendors that made this summer great in the harbour. The Ship Point Market struggled but finished off well this labour day. In fact I could not have been much better than is was. I have been asked repeatedly to put on a Christmas show. December 1,2,3
Which is now confirmed at the round house by Bayview developments.
We have 2 vending locations to fill for the labour day long weekend. This is one of the best ways to close out the summer for many locals and tourist. The blues bash fills the harbour with music from Saturday to Monday and the Classic boat show creates eye candy for thousands of people all weekend long.
There are only 2 official weekend markets left. This weekend. Aug 17/18th, 24/25th We still have room for those markets to help build up the money for the winter.
If interested give Joseph an email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This weekend is one of the busiest in Victoria. The harbour fills up with over 100 artisans and crafts people. Musicians and street performers entertain hundreds of people every day along the causeway area. First nation carvers and artists fill the South causeway under the Welcome to Victoria sign. The next big weekend is Labour Day long weekend
This is also the same weekend as the Symphony Splash. The Symphony Splash attracts tens of thousands of people for an afternoon of music performed by the Victoria Symphony. A floating stage is created and placed in the harbour for the crowd to enjoy. The grand finale is fireworks in time with the Beethoven 5th.
Big Plans for the Ship Point area, And it looks like there is still room for the Ship Point Market.
