Causeway Full time and weekly
The causeway has 29 artist locations, 28 busker locations (1 Fisherman's Wharf location), food cart locations, and 9 openings for jugglers.
The dynamic and diverse area is well populated with tourists as soon as the weather gets warm.
If you want to try out the causeway location for just a week or more, please complete the registration below and specify which dates you would like.
THE INNER HARBOUR FULL TIME AND WEEKLY LOCATIONS
Full-time licensees have venue availability between 1030 and 11:00pm every day. If a licensed artist or performer is unavailable on their scheduled day, their position will be offered to other artists and performers.
Visual artists and vendors have a stationary venue location. Performers collectively schedule their daily and weekly venue rotation.
ARTISTS: Artists can submit their work to be juried for this season from now until May 10th. Please include a completed application form, one original and three copies of your work, and pictures/drafts of your display (a 5x8 space is allotted). There are a limited number of spaces and we will know how many new artists are allowed in April . We will look at items in three stages. deadline for each stage is Jan 3oth, March 30th and May 10th. Artists are encouraged to create their art while on the causeway. All art must be original and hand made.

MUSICIANS: We welcome Monteverdi to Metallica so long as it’s kept unplugged. Individuals and ensembles are invited to audition. Designated busking venues are available for two hour sets.
The 2019 busker auditions will be held at Ship Point pier on Friday April 19th. The participants will have 10 minutes to perform in front of the judges (this is on a competitive basis, in the past we've had over 12 performers competing for only 3 locations). The number of open spaces will be determined in April. Participants are auditioning for a full-time lower causeway location ( unplugged), Fisherman's wharf ( unplugged) and will be considered for the Ship Point Night Market ( plugged) events too.
